With over 17,000 hours of wide body jet experience and a total of 23,000 hours, a successful track record in creating and building aviation businesses, and roles in flight safety, flight resource training and regulatory management, aircraft purchase, Greg is superbly qualified for the operational establishment of the Make 21st Century Aeronautics business.

Learning to fly at Cessnock, Australia, in the early 1980's, Greg's business experienced started soon after with the establishment of Newcastle Aviation in 1986 as its Managing Director. Greg developed that business to operate overnight cargo operations with 4 Mitsubishi MU2 Turbo-Prop and two Turbo commanders (AC690) aircraft before moving on to join Ansett Airlines in 1988. Seeking more international exposure, Greg left Ansett Airlines in 2000 to fly for Singapore Airlines then Etihad Airways as a Captain on the B777. He is currently working for Emirates Airline as a Type Rating Examiner and UPRT instructor.

Over his aviation career, Greg has developed his flight expertise by taking on roles in Flight Crew Resource Management, Checking Organisation Development and Aircraft Selection Acquisition and Utilisation. He has been a Type Rating Examiner at Emirates Airlines for the past 5 years.

Greg is a founding partner of the Make 21st Century Aeronautics business. His extensive aviation experience makes him instrumental is the development of the business model, guiding the technological requirements of its systems and to establish its operations as well as its navigation through the regulatory challenges of the idea of autonomous flight.
